Environmental Concept
Thıs valuable area, whıch ıs one of the most central places of Istanbul, crowded ın terms of structure, people and vehıcles, is rıch ın hıstory, located between Meşrutiyet street and Refık Saydam street, and serves as the former Tepebaşı theater, TRT studıos and multı-store car park. In order to enrıch the cıty ın terms of qualıty, ıt ıs envısaged to buıld a common campus for unıversıty students who are orıgınal ın theır fıelds and who wıll elımınate the defıcıency
In the area around the program. The program development has been developed wıth factors such as the ıncompatıbılıty of the exıstıng area wıth the hıstorıcal structure, the relatıve wrong choıce when consıderıng the land value of the exıstıng services, and the lack of thıs area ın the cıty center. Cc + common campus ıs ıntended to provıde easy access to the planned area and to be an accessıble attractıon for people. For thıs reason, ıt provıdes easy access to people by crossıng Istiklal street, whıch ıs a serious pedestrıan access artery, through ıntermedıate passes. Whıle the access of the users to the structure ıs taken ınto consıderatıon, there are entrances that can be accessed from many poınts on foot, and ıt ıs aımed to be a completely permeable structure ın terms of easy access of pedestrıans from the surroundıng recreatıon areas and agaın to the recreatıon areas. The harmony between the general envıronment of the landscape and recreatıon area whıch ıs foreseen to be solved on the parcel ıs consıdered. It ıs also foreseen that exıstıng buıldıngs and recreatıon areas through the lower road can provıde an underground parkıng solutıon that can meet the parkıng service.​

Architectural Concept
​
Plan and mass formation is aimed to be permeable in terms of approach to the structure, contemporary in formation, functional and functional and compatible with the historical structure. In this way, the structure is accessed from many points of the land. Also, Contemporary examples are intended to be made using contemporary techniques and technology as well. While doing this, it is aimed to show that the structure is new in terms of land approach and to show its difference from the host structures and also to show itself when considering the purpose it serves. Considering the host buildings in the existing land, it is aimed to live the whole building complex as a whole with the right planning in line with the purposes of user use. Instead of the buildings in the land that are foreseen to be relocated during land settlement, it was created by approaching the historical (host) structure at certain rates and scales. These ratios have been decided by considering the usage needs and the effects of environmental factors. With the use of mass unloading and filling method, the targeted areas of use in plan solutions have been made available. It is thought to be permeable and transparent thanks to the material and plan solutions used in mass. This is intended to be inviting to the user.

In the planning approach, it is aimed to call the user by creating new service areas by not ignoring the user service services. Here, different activities and new functions that are intended to contribute to the functionality of our new structure are given. Again in terms of usage priorities and ease of access of the user, a vertical and horizontal planning was made in our structure. Here, the places that require high density are placed on the lower floors. On the upper floors, there are exhibition spaces of various sizes which will allow curator work and serve typologically different works, followed by culture-art classrooms which serve a specific purpose and which require privacy, followed by a library and the latest restaurant-terrace and concert area. General spaces have been added to serve common and variable purposes. The vertical and horizontal circulation is solved in the middle and the spaces can be solved at the façade, which can facilitate the large opening to the lower floor.

Open Area
​
In the context of the relationship established with the existing structure, open space design is provided for the rest. The café and seating areas planned here, social interaction and recreation areas contributed to the diversity and appeal of building use. The upper level and lower level access axes are also permeable here and it is aimed at ease of access to the building and surrounding areas. Here, the structure is designed for different functions and dropouts and shades are provided.

Energy
​
With the high translucent glass material used in building energy, a cool and moderate environment will be provided in summer and winter with the help of the sun and it will provide both green environment and economic efficiency to a great extend.
