---Kisikli Study Centre, Interior Architecture, 2023, +350m²

The location of the project is in Kisikli, Istanbul. The school administration came to us upon a request for an interior design project for the study centre for primary school students. The project was designed for a steel structure that used to be used as a warehouse. The design process of project completed in 3 months. 2d and 3d drawings of the layout, ceiling and floor plans were made in line with the inputs by customer.

In November 2021, I provided project services as a casual drafter to draw a 2-storey dwelling house project located at 15 Glenarvon Street, Straitfield. In this process, I prepared the Construction certificate CC project for council approval by Archicad.

As of September 2021, I started to work as responsible interior architect at Has+Koen Architects for the general office project of one of the leading technology and innovation company Apple which is planned to be built in Levent, Istanbul. I carried out my work as a direct report to our founding partner. During the period I was assigned to processes such as preparing for the tender process, collecting price offers for some office projects. I also contribute a yacht project design to draw shop drawing and design parts.

I was responsible for the adaptation and detailing of the office designed by CHU Architects and MCM to local architectural norms, the shop drawing part of all layout, detail plans for construction, mechanical-electrical coordination and superposition, and making the projects suitable for the application. After the project approval process, I took care of site application controls, progress payments and site-office coordination process.

2019 - 2021

ASRA GRUP, Istanbul – 2 years

I worked as an architectural and interior designer in Asra Grup, a design and construction company, starting in November 2019 and until August 2021.

Architectural Designer Role

I directly contributed design team to design the layouts (typology) and facades of approximately 20 approved residential projects which located in Istanbul. Also, the same projects were coordinated with the mechanical, electrical and geotechnical offices. Municipal approval and revision processes of the projects were followed up. While most of the processes were followed up on the basis of the development application project (DA), some of them were included in the construction certificate project (CC) drawings. Also during this time plenty of proposal plans made and introductory booklet designs containing plans and renders were made for the sales of the flats owned by the company. Interior Designer Role

As the only designer in the office to deal with interior architectural projects, interior architectural designs were made in line with special requests from customers. Interior architectural designs for the sale of the company's own apartments were made for application and advertising. In this process, I was assigned as an interior architect by Sacit Ogdur, the founding architect of the Asra Grup, in the project called International Talent academy, in which the partners are present and they are considering investing.

It was the biggest project that contributed and had the most important role as an interior designer by myself. It was aimed to merge the kindergarten and education building on one roof and to make an education complex in two neighbor parcels. A corporate design line was created in line with the inputs given by the employers. In the design process, which lasted about 1 year and consisted of 5 stages, the interior architecture 2d and 3d design package was prepared for the main building's administration, therapy rooms, classrooms, workshops, canteen, cafeteria and the nursery which has already actively been ran. Revision processes were followed up. Site application process were consulted. First 2 stages actively are on at the moment. The rest is postponed due to pandemic and financial concerns.

2019

HISARUSTU CONST. AND FURNITURE COMPANY, Istanbul – 5 months

I started full-time work in 2019 and gained experience in interior design and R&D department of furniture design at Hisarüstü Construction and Furniture Company for a period of 5 months. During this time, I have involved office, dormitory and school projects. I had a unique experience in materials and details by involving manufacturing process in factory. Interior designs were developed in line with the wishes and requests of the customers. The production of the developed designs in the factory and the assembly in the site were followed up. The designs of new furnishing products were developed as R&D department for the company.

Suleyman Sah University Student Dormitory, Interior Design, 2019, +3500m²

The interior architectural layout, ceiling, floor and detail plans of the dormitory building in Konya were prepared by myself in 2D and 3D. At the request of the employer, a modern design is preferred. During the construction process, frequent site visits were made and the applications were supported as a consultant even after resignation from Hisarustu. After 5 months of design and 1.5 years of construction process, the dormitory started to host its first students in 2021.

2017 - 2019

HAFA INTERIORS, Istanbul – 2 years

While I was studying in university, I had been working as an intern at Hafa Interiors. During this period, I got 2 years’ experience in interior design of Hospitals, Schools and Dormitories. Here is the some projects that I have involved in;

Hisar Camlica Hospital, Interior Design, 2017, +5000m²

Hospital is located in Umraniye, Istanbul. The project was started upon the request of the hospital management, who decided to renovate the hospital, which has been operating for a long time. The design process of project completed in 8 months. 2d and 3d drawings of the layout, ceiling and floor plans were made in line with the directives given by our project manager, interior architect Ferit Ates, and the meetings we held with the customer. Approval and revision processes were followed up.

Erenkoy Primary School, Interior Design, 2017, +3500m²

The location of School is in Kadikoy, Istanbul. The school administration came to us upon a request for an interior design project for the primary school, which was planned on the restored Ottoman mansion from the 1800s. The design process of project completed in 5 months. 2d and 3d drawings of the layout, ceiling and floor plans were made in line with the directives given by our project manager, interior architect Ferit Ates, and the meetings we held with the customer.
